Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Our Approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

What is cognitive behaviour therapy?

Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment approach for a range of mental and emotional health issues, including anxiety and depression.

CBT attempts to teach you useful self-help techniques as well as how to recognise and confront unhelpful thinking. These techniques are intended to improve your quality of life right now.

Anyone who needs assistance to challenge unhelpful beliefs that are hindering them from achieving their goals or leading the life they want to lead may benefit from CBT.

CBT seeks to demonstrate how your thoughts impact your mood. It teaches you to have a more positive outlook on life and on yourself. It is predicated on the knowledge that, like any other habit, thinking negatively is a habit that can be broken.
