Privacy Agreement

As psychologists we are required to:

  • Keep information about you private; open a client file for notes and information about the content / progress of counseling.
  • Seek additional assistance for you; or, contact relevant authorities if I think there is a risk of you harming yourself or others.
  • Submit information / notes if subpoenaed by court.

I may also:

  • Contact other workers that you have seen, like your doctor or another counsellor
  • Discuss your situation with a supervisor to prepare for your sessions

Medicare Rebate:

For a Medicare rebate you require a mental healthcare treatment plan. Also, your referring medical practitioner must receive updates from the psychologist to approve the continuation of treatment before the additional sessions can be claimed though Medicare.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to change or cancel an appointment please give us at least 48 hours notice.
This allows us to offer your appointment to someone else.

IMPORTANT: If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice or miss your appointment you will be charged the full consultation fee.

For appointments scheduled on Saturday, Sunday or Monday – cancellations made by voicemail or email after Fri 6pm will incur the full consultation fee.

Payment Terms

Fees and Payment

Full payment by cash or credit card is due on the day of consultation.
Important: If credit card facilities are not available, payment must be made by phoning reception 9500-0751, immediately at the end of appointment.

Unpaid Accounts

In the event of the account being in default and being referred to an external party for collection the customer shall be liable for all resulting costs arising from the recovery, including commission which would be payable if the account is paid in full and legal costs including demand costs.
