Unfortunately lockdowns are continuing across Australia. We are all facing the challenges of prolonged uncertainty. Some of us are wondering when we will return to "normal life" and many of us have questions about the long term effects on family and work.
It is normal to feel an accumulation of mixed emotions. I wanted to reach out with a useful resource as I am hearing more and more people talk about the experience of lockdown fatigue.

I also want to remind you of the importance of staying connected to this time. Reaching out to employees working remotely can be challenging but my experience is that each attempt to connect meaningully is appreciated. This week we held a short Nexus informal ZOOM catch up (BYO morning coffee)… the feedback from everyone who attended was great.

I have included a poster called Managing Fatigue developed by the Australian Psychological Society. Please let me know if you would like to receive more resources that can be circulated among your staff.

As always if you want to discuss any aspect regarding the mental health of your staff please feel free to make contact with me.  At Nexus Psychology we continue to have experienced psychologists available for your staff to access confidential counselling and support.
