With our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employment agencies are able to offer a free and completely confidential counselling service to employees, as workplace benefit, to support them during emotionally difficult times. Nexus Psychology also provides corporate psychology services that can help with organisational issues. These include critical incident debriefing and psychological first-aid for responding to difficult workplace as from workplace incidents that may arise. Companies are able to access the expertise of our psychologists for assistance with improving workplace efficiency and harmony, mediation, and resolution of workplace bullying, and also arrange tailored workshops that are designed to enhance the psychological wellbeing and productivity of employees and the workplace environment.

The EAP program allows employees to call us directly should they need our services and our specialised intake process will ensure that they are carefully matched to the psychologist whose expertise and experience best suits their needs.

Often you’ll find that EAP providers may not know the workplace psychologists they work with. At Nexus, this is far from the case. Our intake team and reception team hold a close working relationship with the psychologist team, ensuring that client-psychologist matches are not only informed, but personal. Throughout the process, your employee’s details and the fact that they are attending will remain completely confidential, thereby ensuring that they feel entirely comfortable to attend and are able to be open and honest, allowing them to get the most from their sessions.

Support & Guidance for your Company

The nexus EAP also offers support and advice for your company regarding how to approach, cope with and prevent difficult workplace incidents that can arise. Following a traumatic incident in the workplace, it is important that action is taken within the first 48 hours. As such, our specialist psychologists are able to travel to your location to hold Critical Incident Debriefing sessions as soon as possible following the event to help those involved cope with the experience, in addition to providing ongoing group and individual counselling sessions as necessary. Often such incidents can be unexpected and overwhelming, so Nexus will support and guide your company through the entire process.

Our expert team are also able to offer staff training, team building sessions, and conflict resolution programs to encourage effective teamwork and help prevent the occurrence of difficult incidents. We understand that in every workplace, staff’s ability to work collectively in an environment that bolsters creativity and high moral is crucial to a company’s success, so Nexus will endeavour to make this a reality.
