The Mindful Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM) program offered through Nexus Psychology, trains the mind to ground itself in the present moment.

MBSM develops the skill of attention-regulation and allows the individual to connect to a more still and quieter part of oneself.

Mindfulness has many powerful practical applications including: improving mental health, improving work, life or sports performance, managing pain, coping with illness, improving sleep, or simply increasing ones sense of happiness and wellbeing.

The Mindful Based Stillness Meditation Program is a wonderful way to expand your understanding and practice of Mindfulness.

Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop

Mindfulness and meditation is being taught around the globe reporting improvements in emotional resilience, mental health, stress reduction and general improvement in health and performance.

The 4-week workshop includes:

    • Understanding mindfulness and its positive impact on health
    • Experiential exercises to demonstrate mindfulness
    • A tool bag of formal and informal mindful exercises
    • Practical tools to set up your own at home practice
    • Overcoming challenges associated with mindful practice
    • Understanding the impact of stress, and using mindfulness as an effective antidote
    • Opportunity to ask questions and discuss mindfulness
    • Online notes, access to audio files and recommended resources

When: Tuesday in May (2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd); 12.30PM – 1:30PM

Casual Mindfulness and Meditation

These drop in sessions are designed for those wanting to practice in a small group setting, refresh their practice and learn new techniques. Recommended for those who have completed an Introductory Mindfulness Program.
